How it all began...

In 1954, On Chicago's Near-west side, a civic organization called 'Pilsen Neighbors Community Council" emerged as eastern European immigrants banded together to confront their community's most pressing needs. Today By focusing on developing new community leaders through it's building network of "core teams" PNCC is working, in alliance with other community groups, to make it's voice heard on a path to citizenship, "immigrant rights" and "universal healthcare".
