Driver's License Reinstatement Expo

Take the first step to the drive of success.

Our volunteers will help you determine the steps necessary to reinstate or obtain your driver’s license. If Cook County Circuit Court traffic matters are causing a suspension of your license, a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County will be present, and it is possible that some matters can be heard and resolved. – PLEASE HAVE YOUR DRIVER’S ABSTRACT SHEET READY. To obtain your abstract visit an Illinois Secretary of State Driver Services facility.

Click here for more information on where/how to get your driver’s abstract. Walk-in participants are welcome to obtain assistance, including driver’s abstracts, at the event. However, registration and approval are REQUIRED for matters to be heard by a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Please note:

The Court can only hear Cook County traffic cases which are 7 years old or less. Warrants and trial cases will not be heard.  If a private attorney has filed an appearance on your case, the matter will not be heard for this event.

Court fee waiver motions will be prepared for each pre-screened candidate who qualifies to have their case/s heard in court. If you qualify to have your cases heard in court, you will be contacted to provide information to complete the court fee waiver motion. However, final decisions regarding the fee waiver motions will be decided by the Judge in court on the day of the event.
